Very important question?

i know this is not a fit place for asking this but i need help
i am tired of these corrupt downloads so i think installing ubantu might help.
please recommend me a download manager that can resume a day old downloads by refreshing downloads or without it.
and last thing is a software similar to winrar for ubantu.
i am doing this as i have heard ubantu or any linux is virus free .

iv moved your post to General Chat as its nothing to do with a game issue
i wouldnt say linux is virus free but its close
you can use winrar under linux they offer cmdline versions aswell as a full version runing thru wine (wine can be less secure tho allowing viruses to get thru easyer)
you will not be able to install our rips and play them under linuz tho unless its (linux compatable but not many games are)
maybe other users can give u more info as i dont use linux myself well not on a daily basis

internet download manager is the best download manager but i dont know how to install it on linux . i have been using internet download manager for 3 months and i have downloaded about 20 games around 90 gigs i never had a corrupt file.
google it then u can know how to install it for linux.

thanx for the help.
i am not planning to play games on linux i just need to extract big part files wiyhout corruption.
i just need a good download manager now.
